New module: Discount Vouchers

With the module Discount Vouchers you can give vouchers to your clients that will translate in discounts on their future purchases.

Other options:

  • Points Expiration - Possibility to impose a time limit to use the discount points. An external motor will search for points soon to be expired and will sent an alert email to the client.
  • They might:
    • Have an expiration date
    • Have monetary value or discount percentage
    • Be limited to a brand, category, minimum purchase total or product.
How it works:

On the content manager, a map is defined to associate the order's total to the generated points. Every time a client completes a payment, the points are added to his/her account; when this client places a new order, an information will appear saying he/she can convert points into discounts.
The total of points is associated to each different voucher. There is also the possibility of the client (user) to check, on his/her private area, the operations made with the points' card.
It is also possible to generate keys (number and a set of characters) which may then be exported to an excell sheet. To each set of generated keys is possible to identify the expiration date, type (value or discount percentage), brands and categories associated or minimum purchase total. On the cms you will be able to check which vouchers were already used, when and by who.
On the frontoffice the registered user may enter the two voucher's keys and then be sent to a page informing on terms and condition of the voucher.
The usual online store system is changed to allow, on the finalization of order, to validate all the requirements; if a requirement is not filled, the user may solve it (by adding more products to reach a minimum purchase total, for example) ou just remove the voucher from the order,
